RECREATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2023.
Following the success of last season's program, we are excited to announce that we will be running a U15 Recreation and Development program on Wednesday nights. Sessions will be 1 hour in duration dedicated to introductory skills and inter-squad competition.
The program is open to girls who are between the ages of 11 and 14 as of January 1. If they have since turned 14, that is fine.
Our recreation/development program offers a weekly training session throughout the spring and summer, which focuses on:
NOTE: We will be capping this group of athletes to keep numbers small.

- understanding the rules of the game
- an inter-squad competitive experience

Dates: May 10 - June 28 (Wednesdays)
Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm
Location: Goderich District Collegiate Institute, Barn Field Field, 55 Bennett St. W.
Cost: $90.00 (does not include uniform or tournament entry)
Exhibition Match: AOS vs. Kitchener Dragons, Mon. June 12 at 7 p.m. Woodside Park, Kitchener.
Possible Tournaments (if interested): Halton Junior Festival (June 3,4), CFHCC (June 10,11)

Field Hockey Ontario Membership
ALL athletes must be registered with Field Hockey Ontario (FHO) for insurance, and this is a separate fee collected annually by FHO. CLICK HERE to register with FHO. An adult will need to create the membership and then add the player to the membership. Be sure to choose a player membership in your age grouping. Please select AOS-Goderich as your club. Insurance memberships are annual and valid from September 1 to August 31.
You must have this insurance to play.
Equipment: Outdoor stick (we have some loaners), shin guards, mouth guard, water bottle and running shoes/cleats. We do have beginner level outdoor sticks for sale as well as shin guards and mouth guards.
